The project site is part of the Milestone development which is east of I-270 and Route 27 near Germantown, Maryland. The building is a simple rectangular form which completes the western edge of a square urban court. The court side features an arcade and addresses the landscape court in a formal manner. The western fa�ade accents the entrance bay by creating a slit that divides the building in half vertically. The masonry skin mirrors the earlier phases of the project. Milestone III was awarded a LEED-Silver certification
